Full Day

Full day services provide childcare for pre-school children for more than 5 hours per day. 

This service may include sessional services for children not attending the full day care service.

This service should provide a well planned programme of activities / curriculum for the children attending as well as ensuring a safe, secure and stimulating environment. 

Full day care services mostly operate for 8 – 9 hours per day to accommodate the working Parent / Carer.  Some full day care services may only operate during the school term; however some sessional services will provide childcare for the majority of the calendar year.
