North Tipperary County Childcare Committee (NTCCC) was established in 2001 to reinforce, enhance and assist in the development of a co-ordinated approach to quality childcare at a local level.
The Committee has developed a Childcare Strategy for North Tipperary, which lays particular emphasis on the need to advance the adequate provision of quality childcare.
Over the coming years, the Committee will work to create conditions to ensure that affordable, high quality childcare within the county is accessible to all.
The initial work of the committee will focus on finding out what is needed and where, on developing networks and support services, on supporting individuals and community groups wishing to provide childcare services and on providing information and training.
